Art at the Port - Docents
Festival Docents
are the face of the Art at the Port Exhibitions. These friendly
people greet visitors at the door, protect the artwork, sell art,
and supervise the People’s Choice balloting. Most importantly,
the public depends on Festival Docents for answers to many questions
about the art and artists in the show.
In addition to the many Docents who answer visitor inquiries during the show, a Volunteer Exhibition Team will work behind the scenes to paint pedestals, set up panels and installations, and set up the Opening Reception. They will label artwork, clean glass, wrap and package art and provide administrative support. Fine Art Committee Co-Chairs Lanny Bergner and Nancy Vogel will oversee the Exhibition set-up team.
