Artist Gloria Lamson from Port Townsend, will use rope from Puget Sound Rope Corporation to create an interactive installation entitled “This Place of Passage” in the Working Artist Area. Her piece will create a rope passageway that will allow Festival goers to participate by adding colorful tied fabric to express their thoughts and wishes. Her intent is to create a space for people to experience art as something we enter into and influence with our individuality.
