Booth Artisan Awards
Each year the Anacortes Arts Festival Board recognizes outstanding Booth Artisans. This past year the Anacortes Arts Festival matched funds with sponsors for $3,600 in cash awards
2011 Awards:
$2,000 Best of Fest
Marc and Lara Knowles from Stanwood, WA have fused and cast glass combined with metals and natural objects suspended in wooden frames.
Traci Anderson of the award sponsor, Wells Fargo Bank, presented the award.
$1,000 Creativity Award
Helene Cooper of Studio9K from Port Angeles, WA has hand-crafted fine silver jewelry inspired by nature. The award is sponsored by Puget Sound Energy.
Susan Parke and Carrie Tisinger of the Arts Festival Board of Directors presented the award.
The Anacortes Chamber of Commerce sponsored six $100 Partnership awards, choosing Booth Artisans for originality and unique display. Stephanie Hamilton from the Chamber presented awards to:
