In its 47th year, the Festival has a rich history that includes a permanent collection of artwork started in the early 1960’s. This collection has grown with the yearly Art at the Port Purchase Award. We are now implementing an exciting new program called Anacortes Collects to offer qualifying community partners matching funds for the purchase of artwork from the Art at the Port Exhibitions.
The Festival annually recognizes an Anacortes Patron of the Arts at the Art at the Art at the Port Opening event on July 27th.
Our organization includes a year-round staff and a working Board of Directors. We also depend on a dedicated production crew to set up and take down the mile-long festival, in addition to picking up after our 90,000 visitors.
Our Festival Memorabilia features a collection of posters from the last few years available for only $10. They are a wonderful way to remember the Festival and also make great gifts.
