Juried Fine Art Guidelines
OVERVIEW
The Juried Fine Art Exhibition is the crown jewel of the Festival. It showcases museum quality work produced by regional fine artists. Dates for the 2026 show are July 25 through August 2. The exhibition will again be housed in the historic Depot Arts Center at 611 R Ave, two blocks east of the main Festival thoroughfare.
New this year, Art at the Depot also includes a Focus Gallery featuring the work of three artists selected from the previous year’s Exhibition - Libby Sullivan, Tia Kurtz and Gabriella Norino. 2026 juried artists will be eligible for Focus Gallery selection in 2027.
JURY
The Fine Art Show juror for this year will be Christian Waguespack, Director of Curatorial Affairs and Curator for the Museum of Northwest Art (MoNA). Waguespack came to MoNA in 2025 from the New Mexico Museum of Art + Vladem Contemporary in Santa Fe, where he served as Head of Curatorial Affairs and Curator of 20th Century Art. As part of that role, he curated more than 20 exhibitions.
We are thrilled to have Christian Waguespack help shape the exhibition and select the exceptional works that will be featured. His perspective promises to bring a unique and inspiring influence to the exhibition process.
AWARDS
Up to $5,500 in awards will be presented to work in the show, including a $2,000 Best of Show
