The Tradition Continues…
With the closing of Smith and Vallee Gallery in Edison, the Anacortes Arts Festival is carrying on the tradition of an annual Skagit County Bird Show in February 2026.
Show Details:
Where: Anacortes Depot Arts Center
When: February 6th - 15th
Hours: 11am - 4pm (to be confirmed)
Opening: February 6th 5:30pm - 8:00pm
Who Can Participate:
Non-juried show, open to Puget Sound artists
Artwork Specifications:
All artwork must feature a bird subject
2D work: maximum size 40” in any direction; must be original or limited-edition prints (no giclee prints)
3D work accepted in ceramics, glass, wood, fiber, or metal
Commission & Insurance Details:
Festival takes a 50% commission on sold work
Artwork insured by the Festival up to $2,500
Submission Instructions:
Artists may submit one piece
Submit a clear image of the artwork plus: title, medium, size, and price
Include artist name, address, and contact phone number
Submission deadline: January 6
