Coastal Magic Awaits at the 4th Annual Nautical Treasure Hunt

The Anacortes Arts Festival is thrilled to announce the return of the 4th Annual Nautical Treasure Hunt, running from April 3 through April 12, 2026.

For ten days, our vibrant town becomes a playground for explorers of all ages. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or a first-time visitor, this event offers a unique way to connect with the spirit of Anacortes.

What’s Hidden in the City?

Tucked away in scenic parks, public spaces, and within our beloved small businesses, you’ll find approximately 200 prize balls. Each one is a golden ticket to a piece of our maritime heritage.

If you’re lucky enough to spot one, you can redeem it for a one-of-a-kind, nautical-themed art piece. These aren’t your average prizes—they are handcrafted by local artists.
